Hi, I am a 911 Dispatcher for Yolo County Emergency Communication Agency (YECA). We provide police and fire dispatch services for most of Yolo County. YECA 911 Dispatchers work 8 to 12 hour shifts to provide coverage 24 hours a day 7 days a week, supporting our Law Enforcement, Fire Firefighters, and people in the community. We would like to recognize the 911 dispatchers for the dedication and hard work they provide the community.

InĀ April, 911 dispatchers at YECA and across the nation will receive recognition for their dedication and professionalism during what is known as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (http://npstw.org/). The week-long celebration will be filled with a variety of activities designed to show our 911 Dispatchers appreciation for the hard work that they do, and the services they provide to the citizens of Yolo County.

In support of these activities, we are asking for donations from local area businesses for items to be used as prizes, raffles, and rewards. Such items can include merchandise, gift cards, etc. If you would like to help please send your donation to P.O. BOX 8508, Woodland, CA 95776, or contact me to schedule a time to have the donation picked up. If you require any more information please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you in advance for supporting our local 911 dispatchers.
