Mission

YWCA New Hampshire is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

Services

YWCA New Hampshire offers programming that supports our mission including crisis services, services to new American populations, wellness and education programs, and services to the LGBTQ+ community. YWCA NH has been creating change in this community for 100 years, founded in 1920. YWCA NH is a state-wide organization; however services are mostly concentrated in Northern Hillsborough County and some programs, such as REACH Crisis Services, are limited to more specific regions mostly in Hillsborough County.

REACH Crisis Services is a program of YWCA NH and one of 12 member programs of the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. This program provides free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking. These services include a 24/7 crisis line; web chat and text line support; walk-in services; accompaniments to hospitals, courts, police departments, and child advocacy centers; housing programs including emergency shelter, housing first support, and transitional housing; and education and prevention programming.
