YWCA OKC is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity to all. YWCA Oklahoma City is part of the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the nation. Across the globe, we stand with more than 25 million members in 106 countries, including 2.6 million members and participants in 300 local associations in the United States. YWCA Oklahoma City is, at our core, emergency crisis-intervention services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. We are the triage unit for survivors. YWCA OKC works to lay the foundation for survivors to rebuild lives free from shame, blame, and future violence.  YWCA OKC offers victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking immediate crisis response services through our C.A.R.E. program. The C.A.R.E. program includes crisis hotlines, advocacy, emergency residential shelter, and forensic nurse exams. C.A.R.E program services, provided at no cost to YWCA clients, are critical in breaking the cycle of violence and transitioning victims to safe and violence-free futures.  As clients work to disengage from a violent home, they often encounter social and societal barriers that keep them from successfully rebuilding their lives. YWCA addresses these needs through our H.O.P.E. program. The H.O.P.E. program includes Healing, Opportunities, Prevention, and Education. This includes adult and children's counseling; support groups; financial literacy and job readiness training; and prevention education to better understand healthy relationships, boundaries and consensual sex.
