The YWCA San Gabriel Valley was founded in 1935, and it has been a long-standing multi-service community resource in the San Gabriel Valley region for over 85 years.We remain steadfast in our pursuit to address the needs of the most underserved members of our community with the mission to eliminate racism, empower women and girls, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

Our organization strengthens families and buildshealthier neighborhoods through our hallmark programs, including the WINGS Domestic Violence EMergency SHelter and Prevention Services, and services for Older Adults that enable safety, stability and self-sufficiency, including case management and nutrition support. Our newest addition is the Wellness, Equity and Empowerment Center (WE Empower Center), a community resource hub bringing San Gabriel Valley residents togetherthrough free activities and workshops, financial literacy education, workforce career development, youth programming, racial and  social justice programming, and affordable housing support.
