10 years ago, Port Rowing first launched from the beach at the Village Club onto Hempstead Harbor and now, our boathouse stands proudly at North Hempstead Beach Park. Port Rowing is a respected no-cut program that presents opportunities for participants of all levels and abilities from Middle, High School to Adults and teens with special needs, with incredible personal growth opportunities through the sport of rowing. Our athletes have gained life long memories, friendships and skills. Your support helps makes these transformative experiences happen.

This pandemic has threatened our very existence and we are fortunate to continue the program. This Gala is a testament to our resilience and honors the past, present and future of Port Rowing. The program is the Gala honoree as we will be celebrating the founding members and the moments that make our program one our parents, athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers feel continually inspired by and passionate about.
