Friends of Port Rowing is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, EIN 80-0683332, which funds the programs of Port Rowing. Unlike other sports organizations, Port Rowing is run independently of the school district and is self funded. We rely solely on fundraising to maintain our program and keep dues affordable for our participants. We offer a no-cut rowing program for rowers of all levels and abilities for Middle School, High School and Adults, an inclusive program for teens with special needs, based in Port Washington and its surrounding areas and a multitude of opportunities to participate in local, state, regional and national regattas, competitions and skrimmages. Port Rowing builds strength and character, teaches sportsmanship and discipline, and instills self-confidence for teens and adults on Long Island through the sport of rowing.
