11th Annual Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Celebration & Fundraising Dinner

Coachella Valley History Museum at 82616 Miles Avenue, Indio, CA 92201

This evening event under the stars on the museum’s beautiful campus features dinner, live entertainment, tequila tasting, art exhibitions and ofrendas (altars), opportunity drawing, and a silent auction. The celebration commemorates a Mexican tradition everyone can enjoy that honors the ancestors and loved ones who have come before us, and the fundraising dinner ensures the museum continues its Mission: to preserve, interpret, and share the rich history of the Coachella Valley for generations to come. To find out more about the museum and programs and events we offer, please visit CVHM.org.

The Día De Los Muertos event is for adults 21 years old and older, sells out each year, and draws 250 guests from throughout the Coachella Valley. Guests include regional and local government leaders and dignitaries, successful business owners, philanthropists, and community members who are the "movers and shakers" in our vibrant oasis of Southern California. There are a variety of great opportunities for business owners and individuals to get in front of our sold-out crowd.

 

Businesses and individuals are invited to participate by:

  • advertising their business in the Event Program
  • donating a gift certificate, product, or service to the Silent Auction
  • becoming an Event Sponsor

 

EVENT PROGRAM ADVERTISING

The following options are available to advertise your business in the Event Program:

  • $1000 for Outside back Advertisement – 8.5w x 11h inches
  • $750 for inside front or back cover Advertisement – 8.5w x 11h inches
  • $500 for full-page advertisement – 8.5w x 11h inches
  • $250 for half page advertisement – 8.5w x 5.5h inches OR 4.25w x 11 in.
  • $150 for quarter page advertisement – 4.25w x 5.5h inches
  • $60 for business card ad, $120 for both sides – 3.5w x 2h OR 2w x 3.5h inches

Print-ready ads in JPEG or PDF with full bleed format must be emailed to Cynthia Hart at cynthia@cvhm.org by October 2, 2023.

 

 

SILENT AUCTION CONTRIBUTIONS

Donations of gift certificates and gift cards, products, and services with a minimum $25 value are being accepted for our event's Silent Auction. Great ideas for Silent Auction items include:

  • spa treatments
  • beauty treatments
  • restaurant gift certificates
  • bottles of wine
  • theme baskets
  • hotel room nights
  • event tickets
  • concert tickets
  • rounds of golf
  • vacation packages

EVENT SPONSORSHIP

Choose one of three (3) sponsorship levels available and receive great value in return:

$5,000 DESERT GOLD LEVEL: includes two premier tables for 20 guests with corporate signage at our benefit dinner, recognition in all printed materials, a full-page ad in the program, promotion on our website and social media sites along with a corporate membership. You are also invited to contribute a silent auction or raffle item.

$2,500 DESERT SILVER LEVEL: includes a table for 10 at our benefit dinner, recognition in all printed materials, a half-page ad in the program, promotion on our website and social media sites along with a corporate membership. You are also invited to contribute a silent auction or raffle item.

$1,750 DESERT BRONZE LEVEL: includes a table for 10 at our benefit dinner, recognition in all printed materials, a quarter-page ad in the program, promotion on our website and social media sites along with a corporate membership. You are also invited to contribute a silent auction or raffle item.
