Gundersen Health System Medical Social Services department is working in conjunction with the Gundersen Medical Foundation to host the 11th Annual Gundersen Health System Chili Cookoff & Raffle Extravaganza in a few months.   The event combines a Chili Cookoff between department staff where people pay to sample all the different chili recipes and then vote on their favorites as well as a Raffle Extravaganza.    This event is used to raise money for a dedicated patient needs fund which our Social Workers use throughout the year to assist when patients and families are financially unable to afford medication, transportation for medical needs, equipment to be safe at home, etc.
