We are seeking your support for a donation for our upcoming Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children's 11th Annual Mardi Gras Ball.  This fun filled event will be held on February 18th, 2023 with an expected attendance of 750 people.  More information can be found at www.advocacycntr.org.  Our 2022 Mardi Gras Ball raised over $95,000 and we are expected to exceed that amoount in 2023!

There is hope and restoration at the Advocacy Center.  The Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children began in 1976 as the Waco Ra[e Crisis Center.  It has grown into an umbrella agency with three programs, the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC), The Victims Center and Prevention and Education, offering many services to those hurting in our community, free of charge.  We operate in Falls, Bosque, Limestone, Freestone, Hill and McLennan Counties.

Over the past 11 years, the Advocacy Center has conducted 4,520 developmentally sensitive and legally sound frensic interviews for children ages 2-17.  Responded to 3,860 crisis hotline calls, performed 2,410 sexual assault medical exams of children and adults in our region.  We have also provided direct counseling and advocacy services to 36,220 primary and secondary victims of crime and presented 15,000 prevention related programs to more than 102,500 community members.

The Mardi Gras Ball is our largest fundraiser of the year and the money received is used to supplement what donations do not cover.  We are a 501(c)(3) entity, federal tax #74-1860195.  Please help us celebrate our 11th anniversary of our annual Mardi Gras Ball!
