Many people are hurting because of an act of violence committed agains them.  Anyone - men, women and children may be affected by violence.  Our children are subjected to neglet, physical,m emotional and sexual abuse.  Often abuse is a family secret passed from one generation to the next.

Over the past 11 years.  the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children has conducted 4,520 developmentally sensitive and legally sound forensic interviews for children ages 2-17.  Responded to 3,860 crisis hotline calls, preformed 2,410 sexual assault medical exams of children and adults in the Central Texas six count regrion.  Provided direct counseling and advocacy services to 36,220 primary and secondary victims of crime and presented 15,000 prevention related programs to more than 102,500 community members in our six count region, McLennan, Bosque, Hill, Limestone, Freestone and Falls counties.
