Description

Our 13th Annual Chorale Golf Classic, scheduled for Monday, July 18, 2022 at the stunning Arrowhead Golf Course, brings philanthropic-minded golfers together for a beautiful day of golf in support of our organization. You can view our event page here: childrenschorale.org/golf22. Typically, we have around 84 golfers, and our goal is to gross $66,000. By supporting our event, you are investing in youth development and in one of Colorado’s top choral and performing arts organizations for children with national and international acclaim.  Our dynamic performers have toured throughout Colorado, the United States and across Europe, Asia, South America, Africa and Australia; they have performed in distinguished venues such as The White House, Royal Albert Hall in London and St. Peter’s Basilica at The Vatican and have appeared on NBC, BBC, NPR and CBS.

Since 1974, the Colorado Children’s Chorale has impacted the lives of thousands through its performance and education programs.  Your donation will help us further our mission by generating much needed dollars to sustain our general operations.   Our program, created on a foundation of inclusivity and diversity, builds confidence and character.  We believe that participation in choral music creates community connections and breaks down barriers that separate us.  Each year, we train 400 members, between the ages of 7 and 14, from all ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds representing more than 170 schools in the Denver metro area and beyond.  We ensure music and performance experiences for all children by offering need-based tuition assistance and bringing our programs to under-resourced communities.

The Performance Program includes a series of self-produced concerts, numerous performances with other Colorado arts organizations and touring around the world.  In addition, the Chorale offers an extensive mission-supporting Education Program, including three non-auditioned Community Choirs, which provides children the opportunity to rehearse and perform in their own community.  We also cultivate School Partnerships which provide weekly choral music and performance training in targeted schools.
