Bike-A-Thon | Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA
This eight hour studio cycling event is made up of 40 teams and nearly 300 participants all spinning to raise money for the YMCA’s Annual Campaign. All proceeds will benefit children, families and seniors in need in our community and give them the ability to access YMCA programs through financial aid. The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA has offered quality programs and YMCA membership to all community members, regardless of ability to pay for over 56 years. Last year nearly 2,000 children, seniors and families received financial assistance from the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA and over 220 children whose parents were active duty military had the chance to attend a week long day camp filled with field trips, activities and snacks at absolutely no cost to the families.

A big silent auction, as well as program demonstrations and community highlights make the Bike-A-Thon a fun and lively event. Prizes are awarded to teams who raise the most money and everyone receives free giveaways from local sponsors. Local eateries provide food and refreshments which increase the community support that this event generates.
