Description

Respiratory therapists have made a huge impact in the last year. The FACES Foundation™ (Family And Caregiver Education & Support) based in Milford, MI, works to honor those amazing respiratory therapists. FACES provides the only nationally recognized hospital-based recognition program dedicated to honoring outstanding respiratory therapists who provide exemplary care and treatment for patients with respiratory illnesses. The FACES Foundation is honored to be partnered with more than 152 leading hospitals in the country to honor outstanding respiratory care.

What we need and how you can help:

The goal of The FACES Foundation this year is to increase our number of sponsors, donors, and golfers to raise $20,000 at the 15th Annual Philip C. Lamka Golf Outing & Silent Auction.

We are seeking donations for our silent auction. Would you be willing to send a gift card, passes, or in-kind donation for use in our auction?

Help us celebrate The FACES Foundation latest accomplishments and raise money. This year we are holding the outing at 10AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Dunham Hills Golf Club in Hartland, MI. We expect more than 120 golfers.

FACES Mission: to acknowledge and promote professional excellence in the education and care of patients with pulmonary illnesses

The Facts:
• Asthma makes breathing difficult for more than 25 million Americans, including over 6 million children
• The profession is growing and is expected to be fueled by the rising number of middle-age and elderly people in the population
• Respiratory Therapist jobs have a 23% projected increase from 2006-2026, which is much faster than the average for all occupations
• Michigan alone has more than 5000 licensed respiratory therapists
