The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Bike-A-Thon fundraising event was started in 2002 and consisted of 3 hours of studio bike riding and raised $1,100. Since then, the Bike-A-Thon has grown from raising just over $1,000 to a record-breaking $76,000 raised in 2017. This year, the event will consist of eight hours of fun, high energy studio cycling with over 40 teams and 300 participants.
Funds raised from the Bike-A-Thon event support the Annual Campaign and make it possible for our Y to continue providing high-quality, affordable programs to children, families and seniors in the community, as well as offer scholarships to thousands of individuals in need every year.
