San Diego is proud to host the 19th USAWest Square Dance Convention on August 17-20, 2022. This event brings together square and round dancers across the western United States to spend time dancing as well as enjoying area activities and attractions. This is the first time the USAWest Convention has been held in San Diego and only the second time in California. Our current registration projects an attendance of 500-600 dancers coming to experience what San Diego and Southern California have to offer.

This event also serves as a fund-raiser to support promotion and education activities for the square dance community, including youth and handicapable dancers.  We will be putting together donated items such as gift certificates, merchandise, and complimentary passes for events and venues for our guests to bid on in a Silent Auction.
