Description
The 1BDEFRG will host a Formal Military Gala on Feburary 24, 2024. This event will serve as an annual fundraiser for the Family Readiness Group. The funds raised during this event will go into the 1BDEFRG general fund and the emergency support fund which provides emergency funding to military families in need.
Additionally, the 1BDEFRG is working to establish a scholarship fund. If the funds raised during the Gala exceed current funding needs it may be possible to establish the scholarship fund. This would allow the FRG to start supporting family members as soon as the 2024-2025 academic school year.
