2019 Awards Dinner Celebration
Gala/Party for Sierra Club San Diego ChapterMay 04, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM
The Sierra Club San Diego Chapter, with over 15,000 members in San Diego and Imperial Counties, will be hosting its 2019 Awards Dinner Celebration on May 4, 2019. This year’s theme is Our Environmental Heritage and will honor those who have contributed their time and effort to protecting the environment.
As a part of the festivities we will be holding a silent auction. All donors will be recognized at the event and featured in the next edition of our newsletter, the HiSierran, with a circulation of over 14,000 households.
The Sierra Club was founded in 1892 by John Muir to, in Muir’s words, “do something for wildness and make the mountains glad.” More than a century later, no other organization is better equipped to defend our environment and is deserving of your help.
The San Diego Chapter is the largest and oldest environmental organization in the San Diego region representing more than 42,000 members and supporters who share our vision of clean air and water, healthy wildlife, and protected special places while promoting livable, walkable, and workable communities.
