I am writing today to request the Six Flags’ help to “Raise the Region” by donating an auction item for the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia’s annual celebration of local philanthropy to be held this year on Friday, October 8th, 2021.

This event attracts hundreds of regional business, philanthropic and community leaders and supports the Community Foundation’s ability to grow philanthropy to respond to need and seed innovation throughout the region. It will be live-streamed, and sponsors and guests will have the option to host “pod parties” or join from the comfort of home.  This year’s Raise the Region will also feature the presentation of the Community Leadership Award to Karen Schaufeld, philanthropist, author, entrepreneur, and lawyer.

A cornerstone of this annual event is its online auction, featuring unique items and experiences that highlight the beauty and bounty of our region, that will be promoted to the Community Foundation’s network of more than 12,000 individuals.  We hope you will join us!
