We are pleased to announce that we are reopening our annual Veterans Network
Committee of Northern Illinois 4 day 3 night Honor Flight, which will be held this year on
August 25-28. We currently serve Veterans who served from World War II to the Korean
War and through to Vietnam. As well as those terminally ill and injured Veterans from all
service eras.

This is a once in a lifetime trip for most Veterans, which is free of charge for them. The
mission of Honor Flight is to celebrate America’s Veterans by inviting them to share in
this trip to honor them by taking them to our nation's capital to see the monuments and
museums that were constructed for them. Participation gives Veterans the chance to
share this momentous trip with other Veterans, to remember friends and comrades lost,
and to share their stories and experiences with each other.

This trip is to give all of America’s Veterans an experience of honor, gratitude, and
community support they deserve. Throughout the past two years, we have all felt the
strain of the economy, which includes the increased cost to our trip. We would not be
able to provide this amazing trip without the support from outside organizations and
donations to help offset the rising costs. This is a trip of a lifetime and your donation will
be used 100% for this year's trip to help a Veteran enjoy this experience.

items listed, or partial donation towards a specific item, we will greatly appreciate it, as
well as give you recognition on the trip and our website.
