As a recognized Honor Flight Network Hub, VNC Honor Flight of Northern and Western Illinois sends Veterans to Washington DC every year to see the Memorials and Monuments erected in their honor. This program is funded by the generous donations of our sponsors and fundraisers our organization does throughout the year. These trips are for three or four days and are at no cost to the Veterans. World War II, Korean and disabled Veterans are required to bring a Guardian. Vietnam Veterans who are able to go on their own are asked to help us find a sponsor to cover their cost of the trip.
