Now in its 11th year, the Gala has become a top charity in the country. With your help, we will seek to raise more than $3 million in the effort to finish the fight against cancer. In 2021 the gala surpassed its goal of 1.2 million, raising more than 1.7 million dollars to support the Society's lifesaving mission both locally --reaching patients and survivors in every county in California-- and nationally.

During this critical time, the American Cancer Society continues to forge ahead with patient services, education, resources sharing and advocating for diversity and inclusion at all levels of cutting-edge research. We lead the fight by funding important research conducted by women and people of color throughout the Greater Bay Area, and those who lead studies geared toward understanding and overcoming disparities in cancer prevention, detection and treatment, especially in our underserved communities.
