We, the Sickle Cell Association of Texas Marc Thomas Foundation, will host the 2023 (hybrid) Walk For Sickle Cell on September 2, 2023 at McGregor Park in Houston, TX.

Annually, this events helps us to raise disease awareness and provide education to the community. It also aids us in providing "help and hope" (resources, services, assistance, programs) to families affected by sickle cell trait and sickle cell disease across Texas. Currently, we serve hundreds of families with a span of more than 60 counties.

We would kindly like to request your assistance in providing passes to your park for a raffle to be held during the event. All proceeds go directly toward sending children ages 6-14 to Camp Cell-A-Bration, a weeklong experience for young warriors battling this life-shortening disease.
