The Marquez Charter Elementary School’s Auction Event is sponsored by the Friends of Marquez (FOM), a non-profit group comprised of parents and supporters of Marquez.  FOM’s sole mission is to raise money to pay for academic and program enrichment, which have been eliminated by the LAUSD budget cuts. 

Donations like yours usually have final bids over face value and therefore, play a significant role in fundraising for Marquez.

100% of all funds raised go directly to programs at Marquez. 
The largest portion of funds raised by FOM is spent on paying teacher and teacher aide salaries to keep our class sizes small.
FOM also pays for Science, Music, Art, PE, and Technology enrichment programs.
 

The auction will be held on March 16th, 2024, and will include a live, silent, and online auction. We are looking forward to an amazing event with over 150 attendees.  Additionally, 500 bidders are expected to access the online auction.  All donors will be acknowledged in multiple event communications to the Palisades community.
