A fundraiser for Johns Hopkins's cardiology and the PICU   

In 2004, our son, Hayden, was born with the Congenital Heart Defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Congenital Heart Defects are the #1 birth defect and impact over 25,000 babies a year in the US alone. Over the past nineteen and a half years, Hayden has received amazing care from the Pediatric Cardiology Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In order to give something back and allow other children to benefit in the same way Hayden has, we decided to organize a charity to benefit Hopkins Pediatric Cardiology.Thanks to the contributions from local businesses, community members, other pediatric cardiology families and our family and friends, we have raised approximately $440,000 since our inception in 2005.

We have decided to partner with Frey’s Brewing Company again this year to host the second Hayden’s Heart Heroes day of FUNdraising. This event will be a fun -filled day of music, games,  food trucks and fabulous beverages.

It is our hope to again have local businesses, organizations, individuals, and corporations become a sponsor or donate an item to be used for our raffle. We would love to say that with your help we raised more funds and awareness than ever before. All sponsorship and donations will be listed on both our web site and event banners. Any donation would be gratefully appreciated. We are a 501c organization, therefore any donation will be tax deductible.
