The National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts advocates for blind children and adults throughout the Commonwealth to enhance quality of life and provide access to educational and employment resources. We are holding an online silent auction during the week leading up to our state convention in March as a means to fund our efforts. We provide scholarships to blind students seeking higher education, we distribute white canes to those new to vision loss, and we advocate for the rights of blind individuals through our Washington Seminar. Our organization relies on the generosity of our supporters to help us raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Your support helps us live the lives we want. We are happy to feature any donated item on our auction platform as well as describing the contribution in our convention agenda.
