ALS United Orange County enlists the help of corporate sponsors and individual donors to help bring awareness to this devasting disease by supporting our raffel, silent and live auction. Proceeds from this event go to our local families effected by ALS. We have a free loaner closet of wheelchairs, ramps, breathing machines, scooters, hoyer lifts and much more. We offer in home visits with practical ideas for sustaining their quality of life and to live with dignity. We have updated homes with ADA equipment. We have two monthly support group meetings with guest speakers to inform the patient, caregivers and families of what to expect in the near future. We have a monthly support group meeting just for caregivers. 95 % of the caregivers is the spouse or family member.

Tijeras Creek is beautiful golf course. We have our food donated that covers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some of our volunteers drive carts around all day to offer the players no charge drinks. We have a helicopter drop of golf balls in which one player will be a winner. We have a morning DJ and a MC for the dinner and auction items. The ALS patients and their family attend at no charge.

To help make this year's tounament we need your support. This disease has no cure and life expectancy is 2 to 5 years. Our mission is Care Services, Advocacy and Research.
