We invite you to support The Father’s Heart Ministries 20th Anniversary Auction Gala, which will be held on September 27, 2018. The Father’s Heart Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in 1997 to fulfill our mission of helping people move from dependency to dignity and from poverty to prosperity. 

 

For the past 20 years, The Father’s Heart Ministries has offered critical services to vulnerable New Yorkers. Our programs include:

Hunger Prevention: we provide hot meals and groceries to 500-700 individuals each week;

Job Training: through Alphabet Scoop, our ice cream store, we offer local teens employment opportunities, job training, and mentoring;

GED/ESL Tutoring: our Adult Center for Education offers free tutoring and test preparation;

Men’s Transition Program: we offer a work and counseling program for men transitioning from homelessness, incarceration, unemployment, and/or substance abuse;

KidZone: we offer a hunger prevention program specifically for children and their families with additional enrichment features for the children;

Health and Legal Services: through partnerships with other local service providers, we offer participants in our programs on-site access to dental and medical screenings and referrals; eye exams, free glasses, and referrals, and a free legal aid desk.

 

We support New York's most underserved communities, and we look for support from generous organizations like yours to continue operating these programs that break the cycle of poverty and dependency and transform the lives of individuals in New York City.

 

We hope you will consider making a generous gift to our 20th Anniversary Auction Gala, our largest fundraiser of the year, to support our work. The Auction Gala will be held at the New York City Fire Museum, and will welcome 250 guests. All donors will be listed in our event program.
