Thanks so much for your support in the past! We are hosting our largest fundraising event of the year. “One Bright Star’s 20th Annual Celebration of Life Gala” will be held at the Mayo Clinic Civic Center formerly the Verizon Center in Mankato on Saturday February 26th, 2022 starting at 5:00pm.

We are raising funds to assist in our on-going mission of being a resource for grieving families who have experienced the death of a child. This night also allows families to pay tribute and celebrate the memory of their child.

The funds raised at this event will support:

Our annual Children’s Memorial Service and the continuing maintenance of the Children's Memorial site in Erlandson Park, Mankato.
The distribution of our support packets to newly bereaved parents which includes a free grief journal and One Bright Star pin.
Our Mothers of Angels Painting Event and Children’s Mini-Camp.
Our monthly radio program “Life After Loss” Podcast
Matching grants for children’s memorial plaques and One Bright Star jewelry.
 

Our event is expected to draw over 350 supporters and participating businesses will be prominently featured in our event program, on signage the night of our event, and in other media outlets used for promotional purposes. Can you help support our organization with a donation of a product or service from your business? It will greatly assist a family who has lost a child. All donations are tax deductible and very much appreciated.

A donation form for silent auction items is attached. Simply fill out, then call or email us and we’ll handle everything. We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization, Tax ID #41-1927574. Silent/Live auction items may be dropped off at 4 Seasons Truck Wash, 510 Webster Ave. North Mankato, MN 56003. We would appreciate items by February 1st, 2022 but they may also be dropped off after that date if necessary. Call 507-273-3208 to arrange for pickup if needed.
