Arkansas Foodbank will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Empty Bowls on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Robinson Center Ballroom in Little Rock. Local chefs will provide an array of signature dishes from Little Rock’s best restaurants, and libations will be served. The event will feature musical entertainment as well as a live and silent auction, including a selection of handcrafted bowls created by local artists and students. Empty Bowls will honor a long-time supporter and board member, Trent Roberts, for his dedication to the Foodbank’s mission since its inception in 1984.

Empty Bowls raises critical funds as we head into summertime, the busiest time of the year for food pantries. With increased utility costs and kids out of school, more people visit food pantries during summer than any other time of the year. By supporting Arkansas Foodbank, you are ensuring that 280,000 children, seniors, and families in Arkansas do not have to worry about where their next meal will come from.
