Marsha Smith Hill - 10 Year Breast Cancer Survivor

(Sister of NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith)

We are excited to announce the 21st year for the Sister to Sister Fitness Festival. The activities will take place at the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center, 310 E. Parkerville Road, Cedar Hill, Texas 75104.  This year's event will continue to have both onsite and a virtual event to allow participants to run or walk anywhere.  You will need to register on a different page for the virtual walk.

This race is hosted by the Celebrating Life Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  This organization’s mission is to making breast cancer powerless by educating, encouraging, and empowering those most impacted by the disease.

Our theme is "We Are On This Journey Together."  Studies have shown that walking can help you maintain a healthy body weight. For women, walking lowers hormone levels that increase the risk for breast and endometrial cancers.

We encourage you to practice social distancing as you get your fitness on! Please take pictures and post them on your social media site with the hashtag #sistertosisterfit2022

We will have various fitness activities at the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center. We will keep you posted as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.  #sistertosisterfit2022.

Please help us by registering for this event or making a donation so that we can continue to support breast cancer survivors in the community.
