Women’s Protective Services of Lubbock, Inc. (WPS) is a non-profit organization specializing in advocacy for women, men, and children who have experienced domestic violence, serving over 3,000 victims across the South Plains each year.  Our mission is to create an environment of empowerment for women, children, and families to eliminate family violence.  WPS is the most comprehensive residential treatment center in a 10,500 square-mile region and has been serving Lubbock, TX and the eleven surrounding communities since 1978 (Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Dickens, Garza, Hockley, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Terry, & Yoakum).  Our purpose and objectives are to provide a safe environment, offer community education, prevention, rehabilitation of violent family members, encourage transition to self-sufficiency, and to advocate for the prevention and elimination of family violence.  WPS is free, confidential, and available twenty- four hours a day, seven days a week.  Leaving a violent relationship can be overwhelming, and having the support of organizations like WPS can make all the difference.

We are asking for your support as we proudly announce our 24th Annual South Plains Implement Benefit Drawing!

This unique fundraiser will take place on August 26, 2023, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Ballroom. We are expecting over 400 community-minded, influential individuals and couples to attend. The event will feature BBQ, Music by Courtney and Ramon, Yard Games, a Silent Auction, and a reverse raffle for 4 John Deer Gators.

Please partner with us and consider donating a silent auction item for the event. All donations will be recognized as donated from your establishment in the printed program at the event.
