Our Mission: To coordinate free air transportation so children and adults may access life-saving medical care.

Angel Flight NE is celebrating 26 years of providing life-saving flights of healing and hope. Since our first flight on May 31, 1996, we have flown over 103,000 children and adults more than 15 million miles by our 400+ volunteer pilots to receive critically needed medical care. Our flight coordination team, located in our operations center at Lawrence Municipal Airport, at peak requests, has scheduled up to 100 flight requests per week with our volunteer pilots. All funds raised will support our ability to coordinate free air transportation for patients who must travel to receive life-saving medical care.

We have begun planning for this year’s Evening of Angels Gala which will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.  The Evening of Angels is our single largest fundraising event of the year which we rely heavily on as a significant source of annual funding.  This year is especially important as we celebrate our 25th Evening of Angels Gala! The gala is attended by corporate sponsors, pilots, patients and donors and includes a cocktail hour, an awards ceremony, dinner and dancing, along with live and silent auctions.  A compelling video featuring some of the people who we have been able to assist is one of the highlights of the evening.

All of the donations that we receive for our Silent Auction are recognized in our professionally designed program book which is given out to the 400+ guests who attend the gala. Signage is created for each item and displayed in the silent auction area in the lobby of the Seaport Hotel. Guests have the ability to bid on items using their smart phone by accessing the auction on line before and during the event. All funds raised will support our ability to coordinate free air transportation for patients who must travel to receive life-saving medical care.
