My name is Misty Jeffcoat and I am a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 597 working with the American Legion Post 597 in Carrollton, TX.  Our post is a 501(c)3 organization that works to support Veterans, their families, and the community.  We are looking for community partners to help us continue this mission.         

The American Legion Post 597 is a place where the American Legion Post #597, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 597, Sons of the American Legion 597, and American Legion Riders 597 work on projects benefiting other Veterans and the overall community.

The members of Post 597 will be hosting our 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off and Silent Auction on September 10, 2022.  Proceeds from the event will be used to help American Legion Post #597, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 597, Sons of the American Legion 597, and American Legion Riders 597 support various Veteran and Community programs and projects including, but not limited to Boys and Girls State, Patriot Paws, Sweats for Vets, Christmas for Kids, Cancer Research, and other organizations that are in place to aide Veterans and their families.   To make this event a true success, we are asking for your assistance.
