Our non-profit organization is dedicated to empowering and supporting the future of first responders through scholarships. We strive to raise funds and create opportunities that will enable aspiring individuals to pursue their dreams in the fields of emergency services.
Our mission is to foster a brighter future by investing in the education and training of these dedicated individuals, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to become the compassionate and skilled first responders our communities need. Together, we believe in building a safer and more resilient tomorrow.
Our 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament, on May 4 2024, will be a fundraiser that brings together members of the fire service along with the community to raise money that will be allocated to our scholarship fund. At Ventura County Bomberos, we recognize that the cost of attending a college fire academy can range from $4,000 to $6,000, while paramedic school expenses can soar as high as $15,000. Unfortunately, these expenses create significant obstacles, particularly for those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds who possess a genuine passion for a career in the fire service. Our mission is to demonstrate to the future generations that there is a pathway for them to improve their lives and reach their full potential.
