Asian Youth Center (AYC) is a 35-year-old 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID # 33-0383691) that helps youth succeed in school, at work, and in life! Our goal for the event is to strengthen AYC’s social justice impact and our mission to empower low-income and immigrant youth of all communities through culturally and linguistically competent education, employment, and social services. This includes youth-led empowerment projects that build allyship for undocumented peers, and community-based projects that build solidarity and provide trainings within the Stop Asian Hate movement. AYC programs include after-school and summer programs for students in grades K-8, Youth Leadership. Academic, social, and emotional support to undocumented and low-income high school students, employment, and social services for youth ages 14-24, an Emergency Food Program, community outreach, and education. Last year, AYC served over 4,800 unduplicated individuals throughout L.A. County. Ninety-five percent (95%) of those served were from low-income households.

On September 27, 2024, AYC will host its 35th Anniversary Celebration & Awards Ceremony to celebrate our partners and impact in the San Gabriel Community and the Greater Los Angeles community. The event features a silent auction and will be attended by over 500 guests. Our goal for the silent auction is to raise $25,000 for our youth programs.
