The Asian Youth Center (AYC) is an independent 501(c)(3) community-based non-profit organization founded in 1989 to meet the needs of low-income Asian immigrant youth and families in the San Gabriel Valley. Today, AYC has expanded its scope and services to youth and families of all ethnicities and backgrounds, while retaining its core cultural and linguistic competency with the Asian immigrant population. Last year, AYC served 1,932 unduplicated individuals in the San Gabriel Valley, San Fernando Valley, Antelope Valley, and East Los Angeles and South Los Angeles areas of Los Angeles County.
The Asian Youth Center (AYC) empowers low-income, immigrant, and at-risk youth and families, of all communities, to overcome barriers to success through culturally and linguistically competent education, employment, and social services. We help youth succeed in school, at work, and in life!
