The 35th annual Irvine Junior Games will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Irvine Stadium in Irvine, CA.  This fundraising track and field event brings together 1,300 4th - 8th grade athletes from 37 Irvine Unified School District (Irvine, CA) elementary and middle schools, 2,000 spectators and 300 volunteers.  This community wide event raises funds for before and after school child care scholarship to help low income, working families access affordable child care.  The child care is provided on all 29 Irvine Unified School District elementary schools both before and after school and full day during school holidays and summer.  

Child care continues to be an important key to the rebuilding of the economy following the Pandemic.  All working families stuggle to find child care that is accessilbe, but working families in low paying jobs cannot afford the high cost of child care.  The money raised at the Irvine Junior Games provides scholarships for low income families - families who work hard but are in low paying jobs.
