Our Village Dog Days of Summer is a time for celebrating the bond between humans and animals. We hold a Mutt Strut and do training demonstrations, nail trims, pet photography, and so much more. It’s a festive day with hundreds of animal lovers coming together to celebrate all things canine.

We’re especially looking forward to this year’s event, as we’ve recently increased our community outreach and resources and we’re delighted to use this opportunity to spread the word. One of our newest services is our Pet Care Pantry, which serves pet owners in need 365 days a year. Here, pet owners can get whatever supplies they need including food, cat litter, dog toys and beds, enrichment items, leashes and collars at no cost to them. We’ve also been partnering with the newly opened It Takes A Village Spay & Neuter Clinic to host free spay and neuter events and provide life-saving animal vaccines at no cost to those who need them.
