Our 4th Annual Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club, a 4-star, 72 par championship course and is rated as one of the top courses in the GTA by Ontario Golf Magazine.

As a registered Canadian charity, Rose of Sharon relies on fundraising to provide the best possible care each year to 300 pregnant or parenting young mothers aged 14-29 and their children who live in York Region. Offered online and onsite in a welcoming, safe and inclusive space, youth can continue their high school education at our location along with other young parents, learn the importance of prenatal care, and develop the parenting skills needed to raise healthy children. Young moms receive 1-on-1 counselling and develop practical skills such as preparing nutritious meals on a budget. At the start of the pandemic, we identified food security as a serious concern for marginalized young families. With the help of our volunteers, we provide free home deliveries of groceries, baby food, and diapers to 100 young mothers per month.

We are holding a raffle and auction! We would appreciate a donation of a product or gift certificate valued at $100 or more. Donors will receive:

• A display on the raffle table
• Logo and donation description on signage
• Recognition in our golf program and related social media posts
• A prize description, including the name of the donor, announced at the prize giveaway
