The Annual Queen Tiadaghton Pageant has been held every year since it’s inception in 1968.  Each year any single young lady between the ages of 16-21 can enter.  The ladies are encouraged to share their plans for their futures, their hobbies, activities and anything else they feel will be an asset to them.  Leadership and volunteerism is stressed as what the Queen duties are.  She is the secondary face of the organization and is to encourage also the power of things like education and entrepreneurship.  They are required to keep a scrapbook and the reigning Queen gives a presentation during the deliberations of the judges.  This year we will be celebrating our 50th year holding this celebration.  We will have a Chinese Auction table during the event and also possibly door prizes depending on the amount of donations.  In honor of the 50th the organization is expecting a huge turnout and is planning to have it outdoors on our stage at Celebration Field across from the Jersey ashore Middle School.
