We are a small non-profit organization called Jersey Shore Town Meeting, INC. located in Jersey Shore, PA. Our objective is to help advance the educational, social and civic welfare of our community and the prosperity of the surrounding areas. We hold various functions for our community and surrounding areas to participate in free of cost. Some of these things are our 4th of July celebration that is a week long that includes things like entertainment, a parade, fireworks, carnival rides and our annual talent show. We also have our Santa Hut where every child who walks in gets a gift/stocking. Our Christmas Block Party starts off the opening of our Santa Hut (with a mail box to drop off letters to Santa as well) which includes our town Christmas tree, Parade, and hand out free hot chocolate/hot dogs to everyone there. We usually deal with approximately 300+ kids every year. We provide funds to several different scholarship funds and children’s groups. We are looking to expand our donations and our events for the children in our community. This coming year we are looking into possibly going into and working with the schools to teach K-3 about poisonous household products and the reason why we shouldn’t touch them.
