Truth in Nature is a national 501(c)(3) outdoor Christian ministry for youth from one parent homes. Working with youth that are in middle and high school and have experienced death of a parent, divorce situation, abandonment, and other situations; Truth in Nature establishes strong relationships to see these youth succeed. Most of the youth are fatherless boys and Truth in Nature utilizes outdoor type activities such as fishing, camping, canoeing, river tubing, and other various activities to give them a male role model and help fill the void of the missing parent. Truth in Nature does not charge a single parent to enroll their youth in our mentorship programs, we rely on fundraising efforts throughout the year to offset the cost of these programs and keep them free of charge. We feel that to charge a single parent for their youth to attend our programs would cause an undue burden on what is often already a tight financial situation. We rely on business partners to help raise the money to hold these programs and make this difference. On May 2, 2020 Truth in Nature will be holding our 8th annual clay shoot fundraiser to help offset the cost of our current programs and help us expand into new communities. 100% of all money raised from this event will go directly back into our programs for fatherless youth.
