Truth in Nature is a 501(c)(3) outdoor Christian outdoor ministry for boys from fatherless & one parent homes that was established in February of 2009. Over the years, we continue to see amazing life change through the outdoor programs for these boys. Working with young men that are in middle and high school and have experienced death of a parent, divorce situation, parent incarceration, abandonment, and other situations; Truth in Nature establishes strong relationships to see these boys succeed. Most of the boys are fatherless and Truth in Nature utilizes outdoor type activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing, river tubing, and other various outdoor activities as they establish these relationships and help fill the void of the missing parent. Truth in Nature has seen numerous decisions, growth, and positive change within the fatherless boys that are attending our programs from the metro Atlanta communities. Truth in Nature does not charge for these mentorship services as they would be less impactful if a single parent would have another monthly financial obligation to be responsible for. We rely on partners to help make the difference.
The direct goals of these programs include:
- Building Lasting Relationships • Finding Their Identity
- Developing Character • Creating a Positive Influence and Environment
- Building Self Esteem • Growing Personally and Spiritually in the Christian faith
