Brainerd Lakes Area Women of Today is seeking donations for our 9th Annual “Choose Your Happy” Fundraiser. (Previously known as Happy Hour With a Purpose). We are making this a live event again with food, games, silent auction, horse/pig race tickets, meat raffle and live music! We will be holding this event at The American Legion in Brainerd on February 10th.

The nonprofit recipients of this year’s event funds will be My Neighbor to Love Coalition, their mission is to end homelessness and lift people out of extreme poverty in central Minnesota. Their plan will focus on three essential areas: Home, Health & Harmony. They are creating neighborhoods with small, affordable houses, providing education, identifying each person’s needs and health concerns and offer opportunities for socialization and tasks which require working together. https://mntlc.org/ And we will be donating to the WonderTrek Children’s Museum. WonderTrek brings together the region’s children and families in shared experiences that are grounded locally and open to the wider world. Dynamic, material-rich environments, exhibits, events and programs engage children in the joy of play and the wonder of learning. The future WonderTrek Children’s Museum will be easily accessible to the region’s children, families and schools, adjacent to highway 371 just south of County Road 48. https://wondertrekmuseum.org/ 

We are reaching out to you seeking monetary donations and/or gift cards/certificates. We are looking for sponsors for this event with cash donations or prize donors with gift card/certificate donations to give out as door prizes or to put into silent auction baskets.
