I am a social worker at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin and our Medical Social Services department is working in conjunction with the Gundersen Medical Foundation to host a Special Raffle Fundraiser during the month of November 2020.   Normally this would have been our 9th Annual Chili Cookoff and Raffle Extravaganza however due to the COVID pandemic we have had to alter our plans for this year and will be unable to do the Chili Cookoff portion.  The Raffle will be used to raise money for a dedicated patient needs fund.  Our Social Workers use this fund throughout the year to assist when patients and families are financially unable to afford medication, transportation for medical needs, equipment to be safe at home, etc.
