Imagine, a candlelit summer solstice, snacking on Hors d’oeuvres, sipping a signature cocktail, all in the ambiance of a Midsomer’s Dream while supporting the advancement and empowerment of women in Halton. Our inaugural Midsomer’s Dream Soiree will be a bohemian inspired experience. The event will take place on June 13th, 2024, from 6-9pm at the Paletta Mansion in Burlington and will be attended by like-minded stakeholders, community members and organizations to raise much needed funds and awareness. Our goal is to have 120 attendees and generate funds via tickets sales, sponsorship packages, a silent auction, flower crown sales, and other engaging and interactive activities. With a rise in domestic violence rates, complications related to separation and divorce, and mental health and financial stresses, supporting women in our community is all the more imperative. The event will help to support a variety of services, from our grey divorce group, self-esteem and resiliency workshops to programs we are developing for learning about narcissism and prioritizing self-care, our focus is serving as many women as possible and understanding their unique and individualized needs.
