Description

About the Event: A Night at the Races is horse racing that’s been videotaped using five cinematography cameras and narrated from start to finish by many of America’s top-rated announcers. All the suspense and close-up action that will make you feel like you are at the racetrack. You will be part of the rooting and cheering. You can even purchase your own horse and name it in the program! Horse owners are entered to win 1 of 3 grand prizes (only available for horse owners). If your horse wins, go home with a prize and get a second entry to the grand prizes! Place bets for a chance to win back your money (and more) to continue to bet or buy tickets to enter the tricky tray.

About the Dinner: A Beefsteak Dinner consists of the main course of all-you-can-eat beef tenderloin dipped in butter and served thinly on rounds of bread. Also included are french fried potatoes and salad. Beefsteak attendees often follow an unspoken protocol to leave their bread slices uneaten. Piling them up on one’s plate instead of consuming them saves valuable stomach capacity for more beef while simultaneously serving as an informal scorekeeping system.
