Description

The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy is a nonprofit environmental education and conservation organization sustained entirely off of grants, memberships, and donations. Our mission is to steward the 362 square mile Perkiomen Creek Watershed by teaching thousands of students each year about our local environment, working with the community to complete impactful conservation projects, and hosting outdoor recreation events which allow local residents to make connections with the environment.

Each year the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy hosts "A Night for Conservation: To Benefit the Perkiomen Watershed". During this annual event, hundreds of community members gather to support, celebrate, and enjoy the watershed. The Benefit includes a locally supported silent auction, lively lawn games, delicious food and drinks from local eateries, fantastic Free Will Brewing Company beer, and more. The Benefit's silent auction is the Conservancy's largest annual fundraiser and is vital to supporting our environmental education programs, conservation projects, and outdoor recreation events. The silent auction will be held virtually on our online auction platform between Friday, September 22nd - Friday, September 29th and in-person during the event on Friday, September 29th. In addition to serving as a fundraiser, the Benefit also serves as an appreciation event in which we recognize individuals and organizations that have shown a commitment to protecting and preserving the Perkiomen Creek Watershed.
