AES Gala of Giving
Gala/Party for Alliance for Education SolutionsApr 27, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
For over 31 years, Alliance for Education Solutions, Inc. (AES) has been working to improve the life chances of vulnerable youth by empowering their voice and fostering collaborative, cross-cultural, cross-generational relationships for systemic change. On April 27, 2024 @5PM AES will be hosting its 2nd Annual Gala of Giving at the Ezra Holdings events room located at 9719 Lincoln Village Dr #501 Sacramento, CA 95827.
AES’ Gala of Giving will raise funds through a silent auction to support our programs that connect and empower vulnerable youth. In the United States, 5.6 million young people (ages 16-24) are neither in school nor employed, and almost 1/2 of these youth are living in poverty. Many of these youth have suffered from abuse, homelessness, violence, been in foster care, and/or are disconnected from school through suspension or dropping out. Through our programs, AES provides vulnerable youth with mentorship, leadership and skills training, and hope to better their lives and communities. We also work with school administrators, legislators, and policymakers to create opportunities for young people to use their voice and work in collaboration with those in power to create positive change. Most recently we worked with the City of Sacramento to survey over 200 young people to inform future decisions regarding occupational and vocational opportunities post graduation.
Our event is expected to draw 100 community members, business owners, professionals, and youth. Participating businesses and their contact information will be prominently featured in our event program, with the request that attendees “Support AES’ Supporters.” Your logo will also be displayed at the event in our Silent Auction area, on the screen slideshow during dinner, and in our email newsletter that reaches over 500 people. All donations are tax deductible (Tax ID #68-0232078) and proceeds earned through the silent auction will make a positive impact in the lives of young people.
