This is a quarterly meeting for all City of Greensboro Parks & Recreation Staff. We utilize this time to introduce new department hires, talk about new projects going on within the department, recognize staff and give out raffle prizes.

The Parks & Recreation Staff Appreciation Committee was created with the goal of making our staff feel appreciated and motivated. As you know, feeling appreciated is the top motivator for employees to do great work. When we are successful we foster an environment where our employees' commitment to public service increases thus making a larger difference in the lives of our residents. We accomplish this by recognizing excellent work through raffle prizes, random giveaways and other small tokens of our thanks. The Staff Appreciation Committee is seeking donations to help with these efforts for our next All Staff Meeting on December 6th.
